For Real Estate Agents and Title Companies
The OPHOA is a licensed member of the Common Interest Community Board (CIC) of Virginia's Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation (DPOR) which follows Virginia Law Title 55.1 Code pertaining to Property and Conveyances. This Law covers our HOA's responsibilities about disclosing information on properties inside of the HOA and how we manage the HOA.

If you are requesting a Resale Certificate Form, please ensure that both the Real Estate Agent and the Title Company receive a copy for the purposes of the property's closing. If the Title Company prefers that the HOA complete their own form for closings, please send this form to RealEstate@oaklandparkhoa.org.

IMPORTANT: After the property's transaction has closed, send a copy of the final settlement agreement to the OPHOA Board at RealEstate@oaklandparkhoa.org for our records.

The HOA must be kept abreast of any homes sold and purchased in our community per its Articles of Incorporation and Deed of Dedication to ensure that assessments on the property are managed properly, assessment for the upcoming year has been collected, and new homeowners are made aware of their responsibilities to and within the community.

There is a cost for the preparation of the Resale Certificate Disclosure Packet (hereinafter referred to as the "Packet"), which accompanies the Resale Certificate Form per the CIC guidelines. The fee to receive a paper-generated version of the Packet is $100, whereas an electronic version in pdf format is $25. These costs are subject to change. This packet should be provided to the new owners of the property.

For OPHOA Homeowners
Use the form above to request your official property's Statement of Account (SOA) for the purposes of refinancing. There is no cost to prepare this form for titled homeowners. Your assessments must be up to date, and this will be determined before your request is processed. The HOA transmits this document via email, so make sure you register on the HOA site, and keep your contact information up to date. Also, once you have registered on the site, you will be able to view your assessment payments from 2026 and onward, but this is not an official record to send to the financial organization managing your refinancing transaction.
